"The team coaching helped bring
the different groups together for sure. I felt that the facilitated meetings by
a third party were a very powerful way to get folks to come to the table and
define their common goals for success."

"Dear Sally and Jeff,
Everyone loved the Art of
Possibility workshop! Thank you so very much for sharing your wisdom and
talents with our group. I believe we would benefit from further
exploration of possibilities and facilitation. Our leadership development,
individually and as a cohesive group, will only benefit the organization.
Thank you again for a wonderfully inspiring day!"

"I
can wholeheartedly endorse coaching as a critical component of leadership
development in our organization.
Not
only have I experienced personal benefit from Jeff's coaching, but I also
attribute much of the success of the newly formed Southwest Business Unit to the
vision of the Business Unit President who enthusiastically made coaching
available to his Regional VP's and Area Managers. I believe that the
outstanding performance indicators of our newest business unit are a direct
result of the coaching services offered by Gifted Leaders and Valley Coaching
Collaborative.
There's
no question that the FMC investment in coaching has been money well spent."

"Jeff has participated in our
experiential leadership programs and not surprisingly, found them to be a solid
fit with his approach to principle-centered thinking and servant leadership.
At this point, we consider him to be a member of the Veterinary Leadership
Experience (VLE) faculty family and are thrilled that he would give us
permission to redistribute his e-newsletter to our alumni list.
Jeff is a huge part of the future of leadership in
the veterinary profession."

"Dr. Jeff Thoren’s
work with my team has been a valuable experience. Jeff helped our team build
professional trust. He helped us get to know each other better on a “working
level”, but more importantly he helped us learn more about ourselves ... our own
drives, interests and styles of relating to others.
Jeff’s approach to team building was interesting,
fun, open and fresh. He started out by helping us look at the big picture for
our work and team. We began to realize that we all had very similar wants,
goals and needs for our work place. Once we were all on the same page, Jeff
introduced the TKI assessment to help us learn more about how we approached
conflict. Once we shared the results with each other it dramatically
improved job related communication amongst the leaders and the rest of the team,
as well as amongst team members on the same level of authority.
Jeff then
implemented the Myers-Briggs personality test. We learned some useful
information just from getting the test results back, but Jeff’s guidance and
interpretation really made this tool come to life for our team. We gained
insight into how individuals learn, their comfort level with changes, and how
they look at life. We discovered our leadership team’s preference of operating
was the exact opposite of the majority of our team members! It was no wonder
that we were having trouble implementing new ideas! At that point we adjusted
our ways to communicate with the team that best fit their needs and comfort.
Our next “change” at work went very smooth. There was minimal stress and good
compliance. I was surprised at how easy it all went.
I am thankful and
grateful towards Jeff. Our lives have changed at work and at home. My team
members are better communicators, more emotionally intelligent, and are stronger
as a group.
Jeff Thoren
is a great resource. He has a wide variety of knowledge in leadership, human
relations and groups. But most importantly, he is sincere, energetic and wants
to make people better at what they do in the world."
